About Us
Hello and welcome to our Home away from Home! We are Andrew and Elaine Woolford. We met in high school and have been together ever since. After getting married in 1988, the last 35 years have been spent as entrepreneurs running two successful businesses while raising our family. We have 3 children 1 grandson and 1 granddaughter, the new loves of our lives. Over the course of our lives we have enjoyed travelling to different countries and experiencing many activities and adventures. We have seen and done some exciting things: whitewater rafting, sailing, ATVing, zip-lining, skiing, hot air ballooning, cliff jumping, parasailing and many more. So for our 25th wedding anniversary we choose Costa Rica as our destination and fell in love! We bought our 2 bedroom in 2015 and haven't looked back!!
Playas Del Coco is a lively coastal town where the locals or ticos are happy, content and proud. Cocomarindo is right in the heart of their community and they have accepted us in and made it easy for us to settle down here. We love being immersed in their easy going culture and enjoy all that this bustling town has to offer. We have invited many family and friends since we bought our first condo in 2015 and they have all fallen in love with Costa Rica as well! We have had tons of adventures here (we're not done yet!), spent many hours relaxing and really gotten to know the locals. It is always hard to leave when it's time to go home. We would love to share with you our little piece of paradise, so welcome to our Home away from Home!
